Truthseeker by C.E. Murphy

By: C.E. Murphy

My Rating: 5 out of 5 Paws

This novel sucked me right into a world that was twisted and Fae and then mixed into spending time in the modern day world. I absolutely loved this novel. The storyline is absolutely fantastic and kept me on the edge of my seat right through the entire book. The Fae world was what you would expect, not overly godlike and completely unrealistic. Like any good tale, there are consequences and limits to everything and that did not lack in this fantastic novel either. The author created a world that came to life in my mind. Such a twist at the end, I did not expect it, in fact, I’m hunting for the next novel to see what will happen. I love all of the people that are in this story and the story itself, magical and practical at its best! Loved this read and looking forward to more C.E. Murphy novels.

Dark Magic’s Review this Spring Day!

Sorry for the late post. Life happens and reads kept finding their way into my free time. Well, without any further delay, I present to you my review on

Dark Magic by Christine Feehan

Dark Magic

By Christine Feehan

My Rating:    5 out of 5 Paws

I had been waiting and wanting to read this book and now that I have finally gotten my hands on it and was able to read it I am not disappointed. This story follows Gregori, the Dark one and Savannah’s past and present. I have been dying to read this lovers tale and Christine did not hold back.

Gregori comes off as a cold, dark being who would do anything to ensure the safety of his people but when he is reunited with Savannah, he believes he is a monster who doesn’t deserve her, believes the only reason he has her is because of a manipulation he made when healing her and her mother while she was pregnant with her. (Read The Dark Prince to learn of what he is talking about, you won’t regret it!!!) Savannah knows with her heart and soul that they were meant to be and reminds him as many times as he needs her too, that she is his by the choice she made in her own heart.

I love how this novel like the others of the Carpathians not only display each of their unique abilities but the fact that they have their own personal struggles they also have to fight with throughout each story.

I recommend this book to anyone who would love a good read with some action, romance, tragedy, and challenges that make a wonderful story.

Are you reading these unbelievable stunning paranormal series?

Here are amazing series that you really must read!

  1.  Carpathian Novels by Christine Feehan
  2. Ashes to Ashes Series by Annie Anderson
  3. Black Dagger Brotherhood Series by J.R. Ward
  4. Dark Angel Series by Keri Arthur
  5. My Pack Series by Lane Whitt

Each one of the series above has become a part of my elibrary through both my nook and/or kindle app, as well as became a must have the paper book.  I have been making sure to track down the paperback for all 5 of these series.

The first series by Christine Feehan is what originally drew me down the paranormal romance novel path.  I have most but not all of the paper copies of these books and have not given up the idea of making sure I own each and every single one.

The Ashes to Ashes series floored me! Absolutely, positively floored me, I have not read any books yet that had to do with Phoenixes and Wraiths.  I loved this and could barely contain the excitement through the entire series.  There is an adventurous, compelling background for these power couples and I adored the pairs and even the villains.  Epic battles, love, magic, and so very much more.

Oh god, the Black Dagger Brotherhood series was a very hard one to put down and for a very good reason.  Hot intense series with so many different personalities and stories for each and every one.  Each book entails the amazing backstories to each of the brotherhood as well as their present and futures.

The Dark Angel series was the most recent of my series that I have fallen in love with.  This one I have all of the physical books but now need to obtain the ebook version.  A co-worker saw the type of books that I read and suggested this series to me.  That woman is greatly appreciated.  From the first chapter, I was hooked and let me tell you about what I learned.  Order the next book or two before you finish the book, waiting for the next book to come in so you can continue this amazing series was excruciating.

And last but not least, the My Pack series.  I loved the trilogy and the growth of a single woman who takes refuge with a bunch of men who had different lifestyles and personalities but this pack bands together and gets through many problems while becoming a close pack that is unbreakable.

There are a few more series I can think of even now, and a list of them that I am wanting to read.  If you read any of these series, please drop a comment below and let me know what you thought.  Each one of the series above is different and unique and just amazing.

Dark Magic (The ‘Dark’ Carpathian Book 4)

At this moment I am reading Dark Magic (The ‘Dark’ Carpathian Book 4) Carpathian novel.  Absolutely love it.  This is a novel about the dark one of the species Gregori and the journey to save his soul with Savannah as his mate.  So far it has me on the edge of my seat.  Oh, what he has endured and what she was willing to risk.  I cannot wait to see how this power couple grows through this book.

This is book 4 of 31 in this Carpathian Novel Series.  You do not have to read these in order, I have not.  I am still sequestering a few of the books for this series that I do not have.  Keep an eye out for her series list I will have out soon.

Christine Feehan is one of the first Authors who became one of my favorites.  Authors are like chips though, you can not have just one.
